Job Overview
The Client Service and Operations Specialist will be responsible for operational and administrative functions to support financial advisors and serve our clients from our office in Hunt Valley, MD.

Essential Functions

  1. Greet clients and visitors in person and over the phone with professional, warm demeanor
  2. Work as part of admin team on daily tasks and workflows related to client support
  3. Assist with client account changes, investment transactions, and other account administration
  4. Prepare and process paperwork for new accounts, ensuring all client documentation is returned, completed and approved
  5. Process client requests including wires, checks, journals, etc.
  6. Utilize firm’s various applications to obtain account information and execute service requests
  7. Prepare meeting documents, reports, and other materials
  8. Respond to questions regarding accounts, policies, and procedures
  9. Meet compliance standards in all tasks and projects
  10. Participate in Task Groups or Project Teams as directed
  11. Perform other related duties

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and scanners. This is largely a sedentary role and candidate may sit or use PC for long periods of time. Standard hours of work are 40 hours/week – Monday through Friday during normal business day hours.

Required Education and Experience

  1. College Degree preferred
  2. At least 1 year experience in related field
  3. Industry license or registration preferred
  4. Background check will be required
