Senior Financial Advisor

I became a financial advisor because I enjoy using my education and experience to help people reach their financial goals. During my 16 years in the industry, my time spent with clients has been thought provoking, challenging, and highly rewarding. Before joining Marshall Financial Group (MFG) in 2022, I worked with both individual and institutional clients at Prudential Financial, Campbell & Company, and T. Rowe Price. What appeals to me most about the Marshall Financial Group is the firm’s collaborative approach, its focus on growth, and its commitment to always creating a better client experience.

One of the strengths I bring to my role as an advisor is being a good listener, which is crucial to helping clients reach their financial goals. The opportunity to solve problems for clients and deliver positive results is what I appreciate most. I also value being part of a cohesive team that’s committed to working together to achieve a shared purpose. Our team-based approach helps to deliver continuity within our client relationships and creates a comfortable and approachable atmosphere.

Favorite Quote
“It’s not the will to win that matters, everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.” – Bear Bryant

How I spend time outside of work
My wife, Kaitlyn, and I have three boys (ages 5, 3, and 1) who take up a lot of our non-working time. I also enjoy endurance events and look to have at least one event on the calendar each year.

Biggest accomplishment
Achieving my MBA from Loyola University and the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the Yale School of Management are two professional accomplishments I am proud of. On the personal side, I think winning the Leukemia & Lymphoma “Man of the Year” award in 2015 and completing the North Carolina 70.3 Ironman are my two biggest personal accomplishments so far.

Quality athletic socks – they can get very expensive. I have a couple brands that I like and try to find them on sale.
